Back to school time coming soon… for your dog, too! Check out all that Megan Esherick, owner of The Clever Hound Dog Training, has going in our Training Center at Godfrey's Welcome To Dogdom! These are her “Early Fall” offerings, some at other locations. Oh my gosh, dare I say Fall?🍁
It's almost Back to School time- don't forget to register your dog for classes! The early fall schedule is available now at www.cleverhounddogtraining.com/group-classes. You can register online for Clever Dog or email [email protected] with any questions or to register for other classes. We have added a new Thursday evening Clever Dog class to the schedule.
Fit Dog classes and Advanced Clever Dog have filled for the remainder of 2026. Registration is open for the Advanced Clever Dog class that will begin January 6 at 6:45 pm. Fit Dog Level 2 will be offered in the late winter.
Space is available in Scent Work class beginning September 4 at 6 pm at Godfreys and September 22 at 5:30 pm at Rocky Creek. For more information or to register email [email protected].
We are now offering Blue-9 Klimb platforms and Propel Air Platforms for sale to students. Watch for bundle prices for upcoming classes. Scent Work kits, including refills for current students are available as well as some new 3D printed hide vessels.
We've been having a great time at the Fit Dog Walks! These one mile group walks will meet one of the requirements for AKC Fit Dog titles. These walks are free and open to everyone, but advanced registration is required. The walks will be held at various locations in the area. The next walk will be September 1 at 7 pm at Shiloh Hills Park in Sinking Spring. Register here or email [email protected].
Private lessons are available on Zoom and at Godfreys on Thursdays and Fridays. Private lessons are the best option for dogs who are not comfortable in the presence of other dogs or for working on specific behavior challenges. A very limited number of Tuesday evening private lessons are also available now. Private lesson appointments are filling quickly for the remainder of 2026.
