Food 4 Paws Pet Pantry "Keeping pets with their families" with pet food & referrals to other community resources Keeping Pets With Their Families Through Tough Times.

We do this by providing food to families with pets and our Critters Without Litters Spay/Neuter program. We also give out information on other resources available for vaccinating as well as spaying or neuter their pets at a reduced cost. We are:
--Operating in the tri-state area of AZ, NV & CA
--Always accepting dog and cat food donations.
--A 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit status,

RE: No Pantry Days For this Summer
Dear Food 4 Paws clients, donors and volunteers,
We will be pausing our Pantry Days thru the Month of August. Please know that we are not happy about this.
We are continuing our search for a new location. As the President I am chasing down a couple leads I was given, and we are not giving up. We know that pets are important to people and for some, a pet is the only reason they get up every day. We also know the stress of feeding a pet as costs rise and incomes stay the same. At Food 4 Paws we love easing that stress.
Since the loss of our last place, the volunteers exhausted themselves when we tried to work out of a storage. And then the storage facility would not let us do Pantry Day there again. So we donated all of the remaining food to a local rescue.
Pleases know that even when we find a new building we will need to restock our inventory and that might take a little time.

We have a fundraiser coming tomorrow, with an organization that does not charge a fee to collect donations via CC. So 100% of what is donated will go to us.

It's with a heavy heart that we have to make a very hard decision to pause (cancel) Pantry Day for March for a couple of reasons.
First, the community need has increased and the amount of donated food has not increased to match. So for the first time in 12 years we're going to fundraise to purchase food. We are starting a fundraiser to raise $1,000 to purchase food because the need has increased and the donation supply is not increasing at the same rate.
Second, we don't have a place to call home. We have thought we had a place twice and at the last minute something happens and we can't be there. We're still searching for a new place to call home and we are still planning our Pantry Day for April.

I am writing today to give you some updates.
While we are still hunting for a new place to land, we do have a temp place to continue our mission. HOWEVER, pet food donations are scary low but the need has increased over the last couple months! Most importantly we need dry (kibble) dog and cat food right now if we are going to make it through another month!
Our website www.food4paws.org has a donate tab at the top if you are on the computer, or click the 3 lines for the drop-down list on your phone and choose “Donate” for the donate page.
