I want to thank everyone that came to my store today to see me for the last time.
My customers are precious to me. I thank each of you for your well wishes for me.
If I have enough strength I would like to do that one more time with more of an advanced notice.
My chemotherapy was canceled for last Thursday and was feeling fair so I had to be quick.
Brad Hall, my favorite salesman, drove quite a ways for this event.
Again I thank everyone for coming. It really made my day.

I'm planning on being at Tropical Haven tomorrow, Saturday, August 17th. Noon to close (12-4).
I would like one more chance to see my customers, which are my friends.
I will greet people as long as I am able. I'll do tricks if you like.
I will have donuts or some other treat.
I appreciate all my faithful customers throughout the years, and want to say a special farewell to them.
Please come, you are not obligated to buy anything. Just say "Hi".

I go in today for my first chemotherapy.
I don't know what to expect.
The two passages below really comfort me and gives me peace.

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

I am Ted Pino, the owner of Tropical Haven.
Unfortunately I have Stage Four Pancreatic and Liver Cancer.
I am too weak to come to work.
I still am making orders so we don't run out of products.
I appreciate all of my loyal and faithful customers.
I don't know what the future holds, but I would like my store to continue even though I'll be gone.
Please continue to support Tropical Haven after I am gone.
I started Tropical Haven in 1977 with my partner and best friend Mike Warda.
Unfortunately he passed when was only 31.
If I am able, I will give you adequate notice if I can to my store to says "goodbyes" to all my friends.
I'll try to have so treats so that we'll have a pleasant time.

We just received a fairly large shipment of fish for Nano Tanks.
Pictured are a pair of full colored Celestial Pearl Danios (AKA Galaxy Rasboras). We have over 200 in stock.
Other outstanding fish include Gertrude’s Spotted Blue Eye Rainbowfish, Red Neon Blue Eye Rainbowfish, Phoenix Tetras, L14 Goldie Pleco, and L264 Sultan Plecostomus.
