After looking like calving was imminent for a few weeks, this heifer FINALLY started showing signs of labor about dark. So, we checked her all night long and she never showed any “bubble” or feet or any real discharge. So the next morning, Bill put her in the calving pen to check her. When he did, he just said it wasn’t right. He thought it might be a twisted uterus, but he just wasn’t sure so he loaded her up and took her in. Turns out, that the “dead end” he was feeling was actually the rear end of one of these! Our awesome vet got him turned around and out, and then realized there was another one. All 3 are home and doing well. Always nice to have a good ending!!

Another Bull Sale is behind us and we are feeling incredibly thankful and blessed! As always, we love seeing old friends and making new ones. This year was our highest average yet, and we sold cattle into 9 states. It’s been a long road since we started in 1986, but we are so proud of what we have built and so appreciative of our customers who make it worthwhile.
