My propagation set up is coming along beautifully.
I figured I’d also go ahead and introduce myself a bit.
For those that don’t know me well, I’m Zoe. In 2021 my mother passed away from stage 4 pancreatic cancer. One of her favorite things in life was being outside in the garden. I was never good at the whole gardening thing, and actually considered myself to have a black thumb. Several months after her passing, some of my friends from work were talking about their hobby of indoor plants. I joked about how I was horrible with plants and killed every single one I had. That night I went home and did what my neurodivergent brain does best; research for hours and become obsessed. I then went out and bought my first indoor plants: a Pilea Peperomia, and a Satin Pothos. Since then, plants have become more than my hobby, but my therapy. Like many others, I struggle greatly with mental health and I’ve been working hard with the help of my psychiatrist, to become me again. Or figure out who that person is. But no matter my mental state, I can always find joy in plants. My goal is to help others find that joy with plants and spread awareness of mental health disorders.
