Trigger needs a new foster or forever home. He is seven months old and weighs approximately 40 pounds. This cute boy loves people and is very needy. He is an absolute shadow of his person. He is a lap dog and snuggly fellow. Trigger needs a home with no other dogs. He loves his person so much that he does not want to share. Other than that, he is perfect! He is house and crate trained.

Kenny is a five month old hound mix. He was found on the side of the highway in rural Mississippi, emaciated and covered with fleas. A Good Samaritan took him in and asked for assistance. Kenny has been in a foster home for a few months now and is ready to find a home of his own. He is the sweetest boy who loves car rides and play time. He is all puppy and gets along great with both cats and dogs. He does well in his kennel and house training is going great. Porkchop is looking for his forever home! He has been in a foster home for a few months now and is ready for a family of his own. He is less than a year old and weighs 48 pounds. He’s eager to learn tricks and is food motivated but NOT food aggressive. He is good with cats even when they love to hit him in the face. He is crate trained and will sleep there through the night as long as he has a nightlight. He is easy to take on walks. He’s still young and full of energy, but then he’ll quickly tire out and be the biggest snuggle bug. How has Maisie not been adopted?
She is the sweetest girl! She is approximately four months old and weighs 25 pounds. Maisie has been to several adoption events and just has not met her family yet. She knows how to use a dog door. She does great with other dogs and children, loves lying in the sun for a good nap and is a calm, easy puppy to care for! She is very food motivated and would make a great family pet for anyone! She hasn’t been around any cats, but we don’t foresee any problems.

We are looking for a foster for this pitiful boy. He was picked up by animal control and is currently at the Monroe County Shelter. He is eight months old and only weighs 14 pounds and should weigh much more. He needs a patient foster who will feed him several slow meals per day until he is a healthy weight. Hartley is approximately four months old and is the sweetest girl! She gets along with everyone. She LOVES other dogs and does really well respecting the cat and bunny. Kids are her absolute favorite. She has spent lots of time with kids from ages 1-15. She is doing wonderful with her manners and not jumping or nipping. She absolutely loves playing in water! The hose and kiddy pool are two of her favorite things when she’s outside. Playing is fun, but she is a big time snuggler! She loves being close and keeping her head on you. House training is going very well too. She is still trying to figure out the best way to alert to potty breaks, but she tries. She does well in a crate, but has not been alone in one yet so it may be a small adjustment.

Both of these puppies need a foster home. They are not siblings and do not have to go together. One was found in a cardboard box outside the shelter gate. Someone dropped her off and discarded her like trash. The other was picked up by animal control. She was full of worms and had a nasty cough. She is on medication for both but needs a safe place to rest while she gets well. They are both nine weeks old and weigh approximately 6-7 pounds. Our boy Shaggy has found his forever home — and it’s the best kind of reunion story! 💛

Back in May, Shaggy’s brother Murphy was adopted by a wonderful family. Murphy was doing great but struggling with a little anxiety, and his family realized he might be missing something… or someone. 🐾

So they reached back out — and now, these two brothers are together again! 🥹 Their bond picked up right where it left off, and both are already thriving side by side.

We couldn’t be happier for this sweet family and these reunited brothers. 💕

Cassie is a sweet, gentle bull terrier/pit bull mix who’s ready to find her forever home. At just under two years of age and 30 pounds, she is full grown and full of love. Cassie is the ultimate couch potato. She loves snuggling up for naps and will keep you company during movie night. Car rides are one of her favorites! She even went on a four hour road trip and was a total star the whole way. Cassie gets along with cats and dogs making her an easy fit for any home.
