The purpose of the City of Mobile Animal Services’ page is to promote adoptable animals, assist owners of lost pets by providing photos, and provide educational information on animal health. We work closely with rescue groups and adopt to the local community. All important links are down below ⬇️⬇️

**Lost and Found (Missing) Pets**
The pets listed in the links below are on stray hold. Stray hold allows an owner to reclaim their pets before they are adopted or transferred to a rescue partner. Pets listed in these links cannot be adopted until they are off stray hold and/or medical hold. Once adoptable, they will be listed on our adoptable pets page and on Petfinder. Due to the large number of recent intakes, adoption fees are WAIVED for approved adopters through this weekend! 🐶 Not ready to adopt a pet just yet? We encourage you consider fostering a dog. Fostering a pet for any amount of time frees kennel space for additional pets in need, and it also gives our longtimers a much needed break from shelter life.
