📣 Rothwell Saddle Club Members & Future Members 📣

We’re ready to start talking details — specifically arena layout ideas and fencing options — and we want as many voices involved as possible before moving forward.

If you are already a member OR even just thinking about joining, please take a minute to vote on a meeting date/time that works best for you using the Doodle poll below:

This meeting will help shape the direction of the arena project moving forward, so your input genuinely matters. We’ve got some exciting possibilities to discuss, and the sooner we can get everyone together, the sooner we can start making things happen. 👀🐴

Thank you all for the support, patience, and excitement as we keep building this thing together.

Hey y’all — sorry we’ve fallen off the social media radar a bit lately. Things have actually been moving along behind the scenes, but sometimes the paperwork, planning, and “adulting” side of getting a new organization up and running takes more time than expected.

We’ve been busy working on details, tying up loose ends, and getting a few important pieces in place so we can move forward the right way. I’ve got a couple more things to wrap up, and then we’ll be scheduling a meeting so we can start pushing forward together as a group.

Thank you all for the patience, support, and excitement for the future of the arena and equestrian community at Rothwell Park. We’re still here — just temporarily buried in emails, forms, and nonprofit chaos.

More updates soon!

New to the arena: a set of practice poles. They are there to be used, but like the barrels please put them away after use.

Huge thanks to a Randolph County Horsemanship family for donating them for use at the arena.

Breaking News from the Arena:

An idiot horse and his equally questionable decision-making human tied said horse near the north gate. The idiot horse then chose chaos, ran back, and removed the post entirely like he was trying out for a demolition crew.

Before anyone gets too worked up — yes, I am calling them idiots. It was my horse. And his person. Also me. We’re all fine. Pride is not.

Current situation:

* Gate is closed
* Arena is still usable
* Gate does not latch right now (because, again… idiot horse)

We’ll coordinate with the Park and get it fixed. In the meantime, just be mindful.

Enjoy the photos of the culprit, who remains unbothered and probably proud of his life choices.
