Well we made another full week in San Angelo with an awesome group of kids. Some was there first time to go to majors with us and some were their last. We enjoyed making the memories with each of them and hope they had a good time as well. We didn’t get everyone a ribbon like we all hope but I think with each one we completed a goal, whether it was making the big ring to making weight or pig not falling apart at the end. We want to recognize each one of our exhibitors and say a special thank you to each one of them and their parents.

Berk Barrow
This kid was our workhorse, he left with Randy and road home with him when it was all over.
Hallie Ventura
Showed a Duroc and Berk Gilt. We didn’t make the big ring this year and broke our streak. May have been missing our biggest fan in overalls - just saying. That was due to pigs got sick after we got there and had to battle those issues but she showed her heart out like she always does. This girl always get the Hustle award.
Brettly Hand
Duroc Gilt
This girl give it her all. She used to be shy and intimidated but now she’s becoming an old pro.
Aiden Lucero
Berk Gilt
We came off the trailer with a shoulder injury. Took a lot of team effort and a couple days of rehab we got her better but she wasn’t 100%.
Tripp Trimble
Berk Gilt
Ol Trippy, we love this kid like he’s our own. His family has purchased pigs from us every year since the very beginning. Sure wished we could have made more shows together. Good luck at college kiddo.
Jaycee McNeely
Berk Barrow
When it was crunch time for this girl and her pig to make she stepped up and did what was asked of her. The smile on her face we when weighed her barrow in the barn at just over 250 was shear excitement. She knew all that time and effort had paid off. Now let’s keep that drive and momentum and next year spectacular like we know it can be.
Kaylee Lee
Duroc Barrow
This pair was sure on a terror in the Duroc breed this past fall. Her family asked us if there was anyway we would make it San Angelo and give them a chance. I said it be a long shot but I’m up for the challenge. We got them here and boy did they look great out there. We just wasn’t what the judge was looking for this time. This girl is going to win a big one some day and hope we are there with her.

This kid wore us out between making all his basketball games and making it to San Angelo in enough time to show all of his pigs. That paid off big time this weekend. Son we know this isn’t your passion but we sure love to watch you do it.
Special thanks to Garrett, Mr Meek, and the Hands for getting everyone to and from ballgames, home and back to Angelo. Would have been impossible without yall. I definitely can’t forget my haul crew of Ricky and Jace. They helped get everyone’s pigs and tac from here to there and helped take care of everything till reinforcements arrived. And our cleanup crew, Jace, Tristan, Kaylee, Jaycee and Caaron for staying to the end with us, making sure everything was loaded and cleaned before we left.
Now we going to get some sows bred so we can gear up for next year.
