Hi everyone! It’s been a long time since Ive posted anything on here. After re homing a lot of foster cats and kittens, I decided to take a break from fostering, in a sense. I still have four fosters that Ive had for months now. Two who I still want to spay before re homing and two boys who Ive had neutered and vaccinated but have hesitated to re home because of how skittish they were and now worry about re homing them and them having to start all over 😬
I have since met an amazing man who THANKFULLY loves cats just as much as I do. A few days ago, I was asked by a co worker if anyone I knew could foster two 3-4 month old kittens because they were taking milk from a mama cats younger kittens and because of that, those kittens didn’t seem to be growing as much as they should. I asked my boyfriend if we could foster them until we found them a forever home(s). We currently have a kitten of our own around that age and thought she’d like to have a couple friends her age for a while. He agreed and that evening, went to go pick them up. I have absolutely no idea where the communication went wrong, and to be honest, I think at least one person was lying about the situation, but what was supposed to be two 3-4 month old kittens somehow turned into four 7-8 month old young adult cats. We hesitated to take them all and didn’t come prepared to take that many but the lady threatened to drive somewhere and dump them all, therefore we took them all because we didn’t want that to possibly happen. One is a female who has since been separated. We worry there is a chance that she may be pregnant, just with her age, so we are waiting to re home her. Our goal is to have her and the two other female foster cats spayed here in not too long and then re home them all. Pictures of all four new fosters! If anyone would like some orange kitties, let me know! There is a re homing fee but willing to make you a deal if you want to take two, or even all three of them 😅
