I have gotten lost and was found on Riverside Rd and would really like to go home. I'm a female with a purple collar on and I'm not microchipped. If you know where I belong please contact the Rescue at 605-770-0037.

Elsa went trick or treating tonight at Scheels and she did amazing! She also hit up Yankton Trails Park to see the hot air balloons. She did fantastic for all of it! Did we mention shes still looking for her perfect home?! She needs an active home who is going to continue to socialize her and maybe even get her into dog sports. She loves all dogs and cats and does well with older kids. Send us a message if you have any questions or to fill out the adoption application.

This application is for adopting for Purr N Ruff Rescue after completing this application a volunteer will call your references and have a phone conversation with you. After that a home check will be done and contract signed to finalize your adoption application.

* FOSTERING PROCESS *

1) Message Rescue with your email address

2) Rescue will email you an Foster Application

3) Fill out Application and email back to the Rescue

4) When Application is received, background and reference checks will be completed and then you will be contacted.

5) Home Visit will be completed

6) Emergency Foster...... 3-5 days
Foster to Adopt...........2-4 weeks
Regular Foster.............Until Adoption takes place

** Before Entering Foster Care **
The animal will have been tested with cats/dogs, they will have received their Wellness check and Vaccinations and started on Preventatives.

** The Rescue Supplies **
Food/Treats, Bowls, Kennel, Leash and Collars, Toys and pays for Veterinarian Care while in Foster.

~The Foster Family Is 💯 involved with the Adoption!!

🐕🐕 Our new DONATION drop off is located at Eds Pet World of South Dakota. If you are donating items to our Rescue please mark them Purr N'Ruff Rescue. Donations will be picked up on a weekly basis. 🐕🐕

* ADOPTION PROCESS *

1) Message Rescue with your email address

2) Rescue will email you an Adoption Application

3) Fill out Application and email back to the Rescue

4) When Application is received, background and reference checks will be completed and then you will be contacted

5) Phone conference with the Foster home ( this is where you will discuss the animal your interested in and ask any questions

6) Meet and Greet on mutual grounds ( your pets with the foster pet)

7) Home Visit will be completed

8) Adoption is finalized

The Adoption Process usually takes 5-7 Business Days
