🐺 ASAP: Meet our transport in the Portland area and take custody of three puppies.

🐺 UNTIL 4:30 PM: Keep these little troublemakers safe, comfortable, and away from unfamiliar dogs and potential illness.

🐺 AFTER 4:30 PM: Deliver a puppy to Camas, WA.

🐺 6:30 PM: Final puppy delivery in Canby, OR.

🔥 YOU DO NOT HAVE TO VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME OR YOUR GAS! I WILL PAY FOR BOTH!

You just need a reliable vehicle, a safe place for the puppies, and a willingness to help three innocent little lives make it HOME.

Charles came from a not-so-good situation. And despite whatever life threw at him, this magnificent floof somehow emerged as an absolute gentleman.

Deserving of a forever family? ABSOLUTELY.

And yet, here he is. Waiting.

💔🐺 THAT’S NOT A HUSKY HOWLING. THAT’S AN 11-YEAR-OLD DOG CRYING FOR SOMEONE TO LOVE HIM.

My name is Kona. And I’m begging you to hear me. 💔

I’m 11 years old. 84 pounds of magnificent Siberian Husky. And I’ve spent far too much of my life losing the people I thought would love me forever.

One of my humans passed away. I’ve been through multiple homes. I’ve lived with a Husky, a Chihuahua, and even a cat.

I had a family. I belonged somewhere.

Then one day, somebody brought me to the shelter claiming I was a stray.

Except their name was on my microchip.

Let that sink in.

Now I sit behind kennel bars and HOWL.

I howl because I remember being loved.

I howl because I don’t understand what I did wrong.

I howl because every time that door opens, I hope someone is coming to take me home.

BUT NOBODY COMES. 😭

The volunteers say I’m a wonderful boy. I walk nicely, love being brushed, take treats gently, and I’m easy to handle.

I’m not aggressive. I’m not some hopeless old dog.

I’m a GOOD BOY who just wants to be somebody’s boy again.

And yes, I have a magnificent singing voice. Unfortunately, my current album is titled Abandonment Issues: The Concrete Kennel Sessions.

💔🐺 **MY NAME IS KONA. AND THAT HOWL YOU HEAR? THAT'S NOT ME SINGING. THAT'S ME BEGGING SOMEONE TO COME GET ME.** 💔

I'm 11 years old. I'm a Siberian Husky. And I'm tired, friends. So very tired.

Not tired of living. **Tired of losing everything I thought was mine.**

You see, I've had a few homes in my lifetime. I even had a human who passed away. I didn't understand where they went. I just knew that one day, life was different, and someone I belonged to wasn't there anymore.

I've lived with another Husky, a Chihuahua, and even a cat. A whole little family. According to the people who knew me, there weren't any problems.

And somehow, after all those years of being somebody's dog, I ended up here.

**In a concrete kennel. At 11 years old.**

The last person who brought me here said I was a stray.

But here's the thing. Their name was on my microchip.

Imagine that.

I spent my whole life believing that being someone's dog meant something. That a home was forever. That people didn't just disappear.

Apparently, nobody explained to me that forever sometimes has an expiration date.

So now I howl.

I howl because I don't understand why I'm here.

I howl because I remember what it feels like to belong somewhere.

I howl because the kennel doors keep opening for other dogs, and I keep wondering when somebody is going to open mine and say, **"Come on, Kona. You're going home."**

And nobody does.

💔 **But here's what I really wish people understood about me.**

I'm not some broken old dog who's given up on life.

The volunteers say I'm a GOOD BOY. I'm easy to leash, I walk nicely, I love being brushed, and I take treats gently. One volunteer even said I was very calm and sweet.

I still have walks to take. Grass to sniff. People to love. And plenty of Husky opinions that I would be DELIGHTED to share with you.

I'm 84 pounds of magnificent senior floof. Basically a luxury weighted blanket with legs, a questionable singing career, and a heart that's been broken a few too many times.

**I don't need another temporary stop. I need my LAST stop.**

I want a soft bed where I can sleep without wondering if I'll be moved again.

I want someone who calls me their handsome old man.

I want to hear the sound of a refrigerator opening instead of kennel doors slamming.

I want a human who understands that when I howl, I'm not trying to annoy anybody.

**I'm asking if anyone still hears me.**

Woof Tribe is trying to help me find my forever. But they need someone who will look past my age and see the beautiful boy I still am.

I'm not asking for ten more years.

I'm asking for whatever years I have left to be filled with love, security, belly rubs, and the kind of peace every dog deserves.

And when I finally find my person, I promise I'll still howl.

We have THREE of the cutest little Shepsky floof nuggets to ever grace this planet arriving in the Portland area, and we need a temporary puppy chauffeur/babysitter to help get them to their destinations!
