Spring planting is almost done! I just have a few more dahlias to get into the ground as soon as the rain backs off a little and then I’ll be shifting into cleanup and maintenance mode! I’m so ready for morning garden walks with my coffee.

Thank you to everyone who purchased Mother’s Day bouquets from me over the weekend! You all showed me so much love and support and I am truly grateful! I went out in a limb this Mother’s Day to try something new and ordered in some flowers from another US Farm to supplement my own. While it worked out just fine, I’m reminded that what I love most is sharing flowers and designs that feel authentic to me and not forced. I love the art of it… choosing the seeds, watching them bloom, creating the color palette, choosing the right combination of flowers, and arranging them into something special and unique for you to take home and admire. I’m looking forward to sharing more of my own blooms with you this summer!

My nephew and his friends came over last night and learned how to make bouquets for their Mama’s! They were so sweet and thoughtful and their bouquets turned out great! 💞 🥰

Hardening off is definitely not my favorite part of growing flowers! I've tried a bunch of different methods, and this year I went with the low tunnel and shade cloth approach for easy protection on cold nights. Unfortunately, it ended up being too hot for my babies! Tonight, I'm moving them to a spot near my house where they'll catch some morning sun and get some nice afternoon shade. Losing plants over the years has taught me that patience and getting it right is key... even when it's painfully slow! 😂
