Missoula Bonsai will be set up on Saturday, June 20th from 10 AM–4 PM with bonsai trees, pots, and supplies available.

The pop-up will be followed by a hands-on beginner bonsai workshop from 2 PM–4 PM. Workshop tickets are available at the link in bio.

Boxwood bonsai have such a quiet strength to them.

This one has a rugged old trunk, exposed roots, and tight little clouds of foliage that give it a really aged, collected feel. Boxwoods are great material for bonsai because they backbud well, tolerate pruning, and can slowly be refined into dense, compact pads over time.
This tree is still a work in progress, like most bonsai are, but that’s part of what makes it fun. Every season is another chance to shape, refine, and learn from the tree.

Simple. Sturdy. Full of character.
