🥶 Dogs Are Freezing Outside Right Now… and They Can’t Ask for Help. 💔

While we sit in warm homes tonight, there are dogs in our own community shivering in backyards, curled up on cold ground, and fighting just to make it through another brutal night. They don’t have a voice. They don’t have a choice. But we do.

We’re doing everything we can to bring these dogs to safety, but we desperately need Large and XL kennels so owners can bring their pets inside, even if just temporarily. For the dogs who won’t be brought indoors—those who spend every hour of winter outside—we urgently need sturdy dog houses to give them a fighting chance in this life-threatening cold.

No dog should freeze to death because a simple piece of equipment wasn’t available.

We’re trying to save pets from the cold weather NOW and need your help! We’re asking for dog houses for the pets who are not brought inside and need adequate shelter to survive this life-threatening weather. Plus, L and XL dog kennels so owners can safely bring their pets indoors.

🎃 Meet Jack O’Lantern — the sweetest Halloween surprise! 🎃

This adorable 4-month-old Great Pyrenees puppy made his way to rescue on Halloween, so of course we had to give him a name worthy of the holiday… Jack! And just like his festive name, he is an absolute delight. ✨

Jack has that classic Pyrenees temperament — calm, gentle, and such a loving little (big!) guy. His expressive eyes will melt you instantly, and if you sit on the floor with him, prepare for the cutest puppy kisses ever. 💋🐶

He’s thriving in his foster home! Jack loves dogs of all sizes and will need another friendly dog in his forever home. He’s potty-trained, already knows “sit,” and is very treat-motivated. At around 50 lbs with lots more growing to do, he’s on his way to becoming a big, beautiful boy with even bigger paws to fill!

✨ Adoption Requirements:
• A secure, visible fence
• Vet reference with a 3-year history
• Home visit
• Jack will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract (to be neutered around 1 year of age)

Moby arrived at the shelter nearly a year ago — and in all this time, he has had absolutely zero interest.
Zero meet-and-greets. Zero applications. No inquiries at all.

When a black dog enters the shelter system, it becomes an uphill battle to get them noticed… and Moby feels that every single day. He’s getting tired. Tired of waiting. Tired of being overlooked.

Moby is only 2 years old. He’s a high-energy boy who has spent almost a year behind concrete walls, and I can’t imagine what that confinement is doing to him. Despite everything, he still has a good heart — he gets along with dogs, and he has also done well with cats and children. He just needs someone to give him a chance.

Please don’t let Moby continue to fade into the background.
