Veterinary Hospital seeking a dependable, customer service oriented team member to join our qualified veterinary staff. We are looking for someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and is a strong team player. Position would include responsibilities associated with vet assistant position and some reception. Must be comfortable with restraint, taking TPR, administering medications, have a strong knowledge of veterinary protocol, and work well directly with the veterinarian.

Candidates must have excellent customer service skills both in person and over the phone, a positive and friendly attitude, a quick learning curve, a desire to help, and be self-motivated. Must have knowledge of general pet health conditions and vaccination protocol. Candidates preferably must have 1+ years of experience working in a veterinary hospital or equivalent field full time but would be willing to train the right individual with a good attitude. Need to be available weekends and until 6:30pm during weekdays.

Salary is dependent on experience and knowledge base. Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Part Time and Full Time

Penny the pocket pit needs a home! She is a rescue and is approximately 1 years old and weighs around 30lbs. She is potty trained and crate trained. She has lots of energy and needs to be played with frequently and would prefer her to have a yard she can run in or a dog park visit daily. She is friendly with other dogs and cats, she currently lives with both. She has minor behavioral issues that can be trained out of; jumping when she gets excited and light nipping behavior. She has never been formally trained but she learns very quick if she has time put into her training. She’s so sweet and likes to cuddle especially at night.
