Happy Fall Y’all!! We’ve been as busy as🐝s this season, harvesting our late season crops, tending our cool weather veggies, delivering to the Food Bank, winterizing our fields, celebrating Halloween, and decorating turnips and squashes like was done in the old days before pumpkins were a thing. Thanks to our Mercy Workers from Notre Dame Campus Ministry who serve so compassionately and thoughtfully every week. We are grateful for the many ways the community partners with us to make a difference!

Today and everyday, we’re grateful to share the GBG story and the many outstanding contributions autistic individuals bring to the workplace.

After struggling in his role as an environmental researcher, Chris realized the work environment didn't work for his needs. So he decided to start his own farm where he could not only meet his own needs, but employ other autistic individuals and give them proper support too.

Notre Dame Alumni Association at the farm yesterday! The Young Alumni Board worked alongside our team on a number of different projects. We’re so inspired by their commitment to serve and support the South Bend community!

United Way of St. Joseph County Day of Caring volunteers from Barnes and Thornburg and Arkos Design were with us today and what a difference they made. They did it all - seeding and transplanting into our vertical grow towers, harvesting veggies for delivery to the Food Bank, and prepping our fields for winter. What terrific impact and commitment to the community!

Our squash game is on point! We're on track to supply 800-plus pounds of these beauties to community members in need. A huge shout-out to our team for their hard work today sorting, loading, and storing our harvest. We love growing produce with a purpose!

Happy Birrhday to our team member Matt! Matt does it all like a pro - transplanting, tending our aquaponics greenhouse, and harvesting. We’re so grateful to him for making sure the vegetables we grow are abundant and healthy! Thanks for the many ways you make a difference for the community, Matt!
