Happy fall, everyone! I just wanted to share a few notices & reminders as we head into the holidays. Also, if you tried to get a hold of me in August, please re-text me! I was out of town and am sure I missed some messages. DO NOT reach out via FB messenger.

I am the smallest of small businesses and on top of that, I have kept my prices extremely low (even despite inflation & increases in my costs) because I want grooming to be affordable for my clients. On top of that, I forego a significant amount of potential income by retaining my one-on-one appointments and not hiring more groomers. Again, because I want what’s best for the doggos in my care.

Because of this, I cannot afford to go unpaid for my services. I am flexible and understanding but sometimes I’m out hundreds of dollars at a time and it’s just not sustainable especially if I want to maintain low prices and a one-on-one schedule.

I get that life happens and am always happy to help however I can but there are a few things I need to remain in business;

- Appointments are typically scheduled weeks or months out so if you think you may not be able to pay for your appt, please reach out to me BEFOREHAND so we can make a plan that works for both of us.
- Please give me at LEAST 24 hour notice if you need to cancel. Last-minute cancellations cost me a small fortune because I don’t have time to fill the slot and lose that time and money.
- Same-day cancellations and no-shows will result in a fee of 50% of the cost of the groom which must be paid before the next appointment.
- If you are paying via Venmo, CashApp or invoice it must be paid BEFORE your appointment.
- I have implemented a small price increase of 10%.

Thank you all for keeping me so busy! I truly have THE BEST clients (human AND doggie) a groomer could ask for. I feel so blessed by you and appreciate you choosing and trusting me with your four-legged family members.

🚨 I believe my salon page has been hacked as I’ve not been receiving any notifications or messages for some time and just discovered that somehow appointments are being scheduled via the messaging app! I apologize for any confusion and any delays in response! I’m a one-person show here and can miss messages as I sometimes get up to 20-30 per day!

As 2024 comes to an end & the craziest, busiest week of the year begins, I wanted to take a minute to express the immense gratitude I feel for each and every one of my clients.

This year has been a tough one to say the least. Many of you know I lost my mom unexpectedly this May then my sweet, old doggo Dingo died just before Thanksgiving. It’s been brutal but the thing that’s been most comforting and therapeutic has been coming to work. You all have kept me going this year. Your dogs wiggly butts & sweet kisses got me through it all. Even the ones who aren’t my biggest fans make me smile.

So many four-legged clients also passed away this year and just know I grieve with you. Your dogs are my dogs, too, and each one leaves a paw print on my heart.

So thank you for your patience, your kindness and your trust. As we head into 2025 - and toward my 5 year anniversary- I promise I will keep giving your pets all I’ve got and make an extra effort to text you back in a timely manner. 😂

The last few weeks have been crazy and I have been struggling to keep up with my messages but will be back in the salon tomorrow, Monday 6/10, and returning messages as quickly as I can.

My mom passed unexpectedly just before both my kids’ birthdays at the end of May and I’ve been out of town so I appreciate everyone’s patience and kindness as I get my bearings. If you don’t hear back from me within a few days, please send another message! It’s easy for them to get lost.

Thank you to everyone for being the most wonderful clients a groomer could ask for! Here are some cute puppers for tax. 🥰
