Bright Eyes Rescue & Adoption rescues all animals mainly cats/kittens from high kill shelters. Our non-profit status (501 c 3) is pending and Non-profit Corporation is pending funding. Mission

We (me) and the board members are a small group of volunteers dedicated to saving animals from high kill situations like at Gaston AC or where the need is located. We are located in Mecklenburg County NC area. All of our animals are fully vetted, cared for and reside in foster homes or with owner until they are adopted.. These cats/kittens some dogs that are in danger of being put down are not "problem" animals they aren't aggressive. They were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong people. Many of these cats, kittens and some dogs were homeless, abandoned from lack of funds in a family or moving situations. General Information

Meet Zaxby he is just a 5 month old Dutch shepherd mix! He is rescue only due to a bite from fear. People were chasing him and other dogs and they went to grab him and he bit. He is just a puppy please someone step up to foster him and we also need a rescue let’s share and find this for your home. Also, if you are interested in adopting, you can do that if we can find a rescue.
He is only 40 pounds as of now

Meet Sweet Julia a 3 yr old female lab mix!
This week Girl was brought in with several of their dogs that came from a bad situation. She is 63 pounds and she is heartworm negative please someone come to give her a home and show her love. It looks like she may have had several litters of pups also! Please read below what staff had to say about her. They were surrendered by their owner. Her face says it all.

Aaron Ramsey isn’t giving up hope.

The football star has increased the reward to $20,000 as he continues searching for his missing dog in Mexico.

He shared that his beloved pet went missing while traveling, and since then, he’s been doing everything possible to bring him home.

Ramsey has reached out to local shelters, posted online appeals, and asked anyone with information to come forward.

Fans from around the world have joined in, sharing his posts and sending words of support.

For Ramsey, it isn’t just about finding a pet. It’s about finding family.

Because when you love a dog that deeply, you don’t stop searching — not until they’re home.

I’m sure you guys remember the mange pups we had a couple weeks ago here we are again in need ASAP for IZZY she is the last of the 5 that came in recently poor baby!
This is absolutely heartbreaking. Please share and pledge. SHE needS out now and also tag any rescues that you think could help.It is not that expensive to treat them. All you have to do is keep them separated while they’re on the medication for a little time and it will save their life. They are adorable when they are doing well. We’ve had rescue pull some of the others and they’re already doing better and looking great.
