Woof it’s been a hectic winter in my household. Here’s the update that I’m sure nobody will enjoy but it’s what is best for my family and myself. Unfortunately due to multiple setbacks including but not limited to multiple illnesses, hospitalizations for both my children, surgeries for my daughter and grandson, the housing market being slow, interest rates being high etc. we have decided to stay in our current home for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately this means that I will not be returning to dog sitting 😔 I truly thank you all for your support and am so grateful for every single one of you. I will be un-publishing this page on February 1st. I’ll miss you all terribly ❤️🐾

It’s been a month since my last post and I’ve been getting texts asking for updates so I figured it’s time to give an update. We are WAY behind on getting our house listed due to multiple setbacks but we are still plugging away and are hoping to get it listed soon 🤞🏻 I know it feels like I’ve been closed for a long time however, please keep in mind that I’ve been officially closed for only 2 weeks and did take dogs up until the last weekend of October as well. Unfortunately the housing market isn’t the greatest at the moment and we need to get our house listed and sold before we can even begin the process of looking for a home that is not only in our price point but also close enough to town and within the ordinances of the city. We’ll get there but it’s not going to be easy and it’s going to take awhile. In the meantime I’ve been referring to Kayla's Kanine Adventures. She is amazing and has taught me a lot of what I know. There’s also some good ones on Rover.com but please read reviews and remember that if they are in city limits they are also going against the ordinances and run the risk of being shutdown as the city is really cracking down on in home pet sitting in town. Overnights in sitters homes is not allowed at all in city limits. If anyone has any questions please message me. Thank you all for your support and patience though all of this. Hopefully I’ll have a better update for you all soon!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I thought I would share some of the fun we have been having this week along with another update of this crazy adventure. We are chugging along with getting our home ready to sell but we’re running a little behind (construction on our street as well as my husband and I working have made it more difficult than we anticipated to get projects done) so I’m not sure we’ll get it listed November 1st like we originally hoped for.
We also learned that there is virtually nothing on the market for the price we were pre approved for and my self employed income didn’t help us at all so…. I’ve decided to get a traditional job and have accepted a position at Kalix. I’ll be working evenings with weekends off. I’ll be available for daytime check ins and weekend check ins only beginning November 1st. This is proving to be quite the challenge but I’m determined so please be patient with me as I navigate all of this. I can’t begin to thank you all for your support and loyalty over the past 6 years. This is not goodbye. It’s a see you later ❤️🐾

Just an update for everyone. November 1st we will be listing our home for sale (if you know of anyone looking for an amazing dog friendly home send them our way) once we close on the sale of our home we will be looking to purchase a new home outside of city limits. What does this mean?
1. Beginning November 1st I will be available for walks, check ins or overnights in clients homes only
2. I will keep everyone updated through this process. We’re hoping it won’t take more than a couple months but realistically we have no idea how long it will take to find the perfect location.
3. All bookings for September and October are still good to go.
4. Wherever we move to I will continue to offer services in my home. I have zero interest in running anything other than a home based pet sitting business.

I cannot begin to thank everyone for your support over the last 6 years. I’m both terrified and excited for what the future holds. In the meantime please be patient with me as I navigate this process to come back with a bigger and better setup ❤️🐾

Hey everyone! Just a heads up that I have decided to only book for September and October at this time. We are currently working on some big changes and unfortunately that may require me to be closed for a couple months. I will update everyone as we find out more.

Hey friends! Miss Kayla and I share a lot of clients so I wanted to share this here. If you are looking for daycare the next few days and are a current client of Kayla’s, she has openings!

📣 As of now - returning clients only. If spots don’t fill, I’ll open it to new daycare clients. I’ll make a post if so.
Socialization is so important for dogs and doggy daycare is one of the many ways you can provide that for your dog! All next week (Monday-Thursday) Kayla’s Kanine Adventures has opening for daycare for returning clients only! We are usually so full with boarders so we limit daycare to only one or two days, but all next week it will be offered! Daycare hours will be changed a little bit as well to accommodate you!

Daycare hours for next week 👇🏻
DROP OFF HOURS: 7:00AM-9:00AM
PICK UP HOURS: 4:30PM-6:00PM

That way we can have no interruptions throughout the day!

If you aren’t familiar with just sending your dog for the day to a daycare, there are so many benefits! Below are the benefits your dog receives while coming to daycare 👇🏻

Ever since I put the rocks in I’ve noticed that some dogs don’t want to go on them as it’s a big change from the grass they are used to. Real grass doesn’t hold up to multiple dogs paws but turf does! I always strive to make sure every guest is comfortable and am really hoping this will help ❤️🐾 it’ll also help keep the rocks from migrating out of the middle and creating a mud pit every spring 🙌🏻 win win for everyone!

It appears August had snuck up on us! Which means October is now open for booking! I will be closed the 19-23rd for a mini vacay but have plenty of openings the rest of the month. I do tend to fill up pretty fast though so get those requests in asap! Thank you all again for your support ❤️🐾
