Our 2025 husbandry goals are MASSIVE!
FULL BIOACTIVE enclosures to ALL our animals. Appropriate substrate, isopods, springtails, and LIVE PLANTS to encourage exploration and natural hunting behaviors. No more paper towels!
UVB/UVA/HEAT fixtures that are species appropriate to insure proper digestion and vitamin absorbency. We are ready to be the CHANGE this industry needs to PRIORITIZE! Crested Geckos deserve these opportunities as much as any other reptile!
FEEDERS and GECKO DIET that is fully produced IN HOUSE. We want to know what's going into our geckos diet and the only way to do that is to breed our own bugs and make our own food. We are fully supported by a mentor that has made this gecko diet recipe for decades. We will be sharing the recipe in a future post!
NO MORE REPTILE SHOWS to reduce stress, potential harm, and impulsive adoptions. We love our reptile shows, especially our HERPS Family that has helped us grow tremendously, but we've decided we're going online only to better enforce our policies, animal safety, and personal health. This will be enacted after March NARBC Dallas.
I absolutely cannot wait to show you all these dramatic changes coming to our facility, and we appreciate all of your support in the coming months and years!
