🥵☀️🥵 As we prepare for rising temperatures, make sure to pay special attention to your furry friends! Check out this information 👇and keep your pets cool!
⚠️ Short-nosed, long-haired, and young/older pets are at greater risk!
⚠️ NEVER leave pets in cars!
⚠️ Stay off asphalt and limit outdoor time (morning and evening walks are better).
✅ Play it safe, and play indoors!
✅ Keep pets hydrated with access to plenty of fresh water.
✅ Act quickly if you suspect your pet is overheating.

🥶 A Freeze Warning has been issued for Lake County! 🥶 Here are a few tips to keep your pets safe during the cold:

❄️Bring pets indoors - if it’s too cold for you, it’s too cold for them!
❄️Provide warm bedding in a draft-free area.
❄️Check water bowls to ensure they don’t freeze.
❄️Shorten outdoor walks to protect paws from the cold.
