Here are a few of the delightful edibles of our first CSA delivery- Week of the new moon.
First, we have early cattail shoots. Peel the outer layers and chop up the tender, white inside and cook as desired.
Second, we have pollen from the male cattail flower. This is probably the only time that will be available. It is a bright chartreuse powder that you can put in flour for breading chicken, making pancakes, etc.
Next is a variety of radish, which I mostly chop into salads.
Then we have a nice little mixed salad that would be best mixed into your regular old salad to add some vitamin and flavor diversity. I have included here, creeping charlie, arugula, baby broadleaf plantain, baby wild carrot, baby dandelion, and baby burdock. These are all great for vitamins a, c, k, potassium and zinc.

COVID-19 Response for CSA:
-As the sole farmer and not infected, virus transmission possibility is as low as it possibly can be.
-Gloves and masks will be used during harvest and packing.
- FREE Home delivery is available within 15 miles of downtown Minneapolis.
-Weekly payments will be accepted in lieu of traditional payment
