Meet Easton!
This anxious boy rolls in late tonight after a long trip up from New Orleans. Easton has been stuck in a rescue down there for over a year. His uncertainty with new people ends up coming out as loud barks and confused lunges. While he has no bite history, his presenting energy means he doesn’t stand a chance meeting potential adopters.
So…how did we get involved?
Our Kennel Manager, Syd, worked at that rescue before moving back North. It has always been their goal to stay in rescue to some degree or another. And when the conversation came up about how to start building up board and train experience, their rescue connection was the first thing that came to mind. Syd will be working with Easton to regulate his uncertainty, build up his confidence, and let his loving personality shine.
Stay tuned for his journey. And don’t worry, the rescue is happy to adopt him out to a home up here for those who fall in love with him.
