If your dog or horse is receiving Adequan®, this is an important update to be aware of.
American Regent Animal Health has announced a nationwide recall of four specific lots of Adequan Canine® and Adequan i.m.® after glass fibers were identified during routine quality testing.
The recall is limited to these four lot numbers and does not affect all Adequan products.
If your pet receives Adequan®, check with your veterinarian to see if their medication is one of the recalled lots.
At the time the recall was announced, no adverse events associated with the recalled lots had been reported.
The recalled lot numbers are listed below.

Movement is one of the greatest gifts we can give our dogs.
People often ask me when they should start strength exercises.
My answer?
Long before your dog needs them.
Whether your dog is young, middle-aged, or enjoying their senior years, simple exercises can help support strength, balance, body awareness, and confidence.
Syd is 9, and this "sit pretty" progression is one of my favorites. It challenges the core, encourages controlled movement, and reminds us that exercise doesn't have to be complicated to be effective.
And yes... apparently the chickens wanted in on the workout too.
Every dog is different, so always work within your dog's comfort level and talk with your veterinarian if you have concerns about adding new exercises.
Because helping our dogs move well isn't just about today, it's about supporting the adventures still to come.
