𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗗𝗼𝗴 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀!

On December 30th, the American Kennel Club added three new breeds to its official registry. The newly recognized breeds include the Basset Fauve de Bretagne, the Teddy Roosevelt Terrier, and the Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka. With the addition of this trio, the AKC now officially recognizes 205 dog breeds.

What better group to appreciate than the fantastic team at Dog’s Day Out and Downtown Dogs?! As individuals and as a team, the care and attention they give to each dog is unmatched anywhere in this industry. Some fun facts about this great group of employees:

• Together, they have well over 100 years of experience in the dog daycare, boarding, and grooming industry.
• Our employees have a total of 25 dogs, and three of us have three dogs each! 😱😱😱
• Tyler – Assistant Manager at Dog’s Day Out and Lindsay – General Manager at Downtown Dogs, met at work and were married in 2024.
