We believe one of the most important things we can do is offer value to our clients. We operate under a “Win Win” policy when it comes to running the business.

These days we screen anyone who wants to become a potential client. In the beginning of my career I would take anyone who wanted to hire me and sought my help. Over time I began to see a flaw with this. Just because someone hires me to do a job doesn’t mean that it’s going to work out the way we all had planned. I learned that it’s extremely important if not the most important thing for the dog trainer and dog owner to be 100 % on the same page. The same page of expectations from the dog, tools being used, methodology, etc...

The dog is the easy part. If we as the humans don’t agree then the process is sure to fail.

For us it’s not just a paycheck that we’re looking for... yes we are a dog training company of course we want to make money but we will decline being hired if we feel we are not a good fit for each other. That’s not an anti client statement that’s a pro client statement because we want you to be happy and comfortable with the training path you take.

Hiring us or any dog trainer is not just about the training package you buy its about adopting a new life style with your dog.

If you’re willing to make adjustments and change the way you live with your dog that will create ultimate success with your dog and in your dog training journey, and when our clients are successful long term that creates a “Win Win” for all of us

Teaching dogs to politely co-exists with babies and young children is invaluable. It’s important to teach our dogs that life and interaction with babies and young children is not a free for all. Most dogs don’t understand that they have to be gentle with babies. The noises and movements of babies and children have a tendency to make lots of dogs nervous and edgy. It’s our job to teach them how to properly behave, especially in the presence of young children. We can’t expect them to just figure it all out on their own. One of the best things we can do to make life with our dog and child peaceful and safe is to create space . What do I mean by that? In a nut shell don’t force them together especially if you can tell the dog is uncomfortable. Don’t let the dog constantly follow the kid around getting in their face and space. We teach co-existence with dogs and kids, we aren’t advocates of dogs and kids interacting at a young age . Successful co-existence between kids and dogs is %50 on the dog and %50 on the kids and %100 on the adult to keep everyone safe , happy and comfortable.

Puppies are nothing more than a tornado wrapped in a cute package 🤷🏻‍♀️ there I said it!

You’re talking to someone who has raised lots and lots of puppies ( My family has bred Goldens/Doodles for 25 years ) To raise them right take work! To think we can just get a puppy bring them home and let it just work itself out is foolish thinking. I always tell families that get puppies from us “Just because you get a puppy from the dog trainer doesn’t mean I sprinkle magic dust on them before they leave “ regardless of who you are puppies are work. Puppies don’t know not to chew on decorations or a $200 cow skin rug. We as their owners are obligated to teach them what to do and what not to do and that takes... you guessed it WORK. The cool thing is if you dig your heels in and really commit to training and guiding your puppy the first year of their life you will be able to ENJOY the rest of their life. • We have 2 Golden Retrievers, a 1.5 yr. old male & a 1 yr. old female.
We also have one F1b Goldendoodle, a 7 month old male. These 3 dogs are available! All 3 were born at Milligan Valley, but due to the owner's new circumstances, they have to be re-homed. When this happens, we always train them up to their age appropriate potential. This extensive training is taking place now. They have already mastered all their in home family manners.
If you've researched our training methods, you will know that we promote and follow a very structured life with client's dogs as well as our own personal dogs. These dogs are trained as we do all of our board and train clients, and they are accustomed to that. This type of training produces a very desirable family pet.
If you're not familiar with our dog training methods, then please research our training methods and watch my videos available on this page as well as Instagram and YouTube channel. They are fully house and crate trained and are also on/off leash trained.
They will come with the rest of their 2 year Health warranties. The Retrievers have been spayed and neutered, and are current on all vetting. The F1b Goldendoodle has not been neutered. Due to health reasons, we like to wait a year for them to grow, before having this done. He is also current on his vetting.
