Want to own your own locally grown business?? We can help with that!

During COVID in 2020, we wanted to be able to grow something year-round that was nutritionally dense, took up little space, could be grown with flexible schedules, and had a wide range of flavors to use in a variety of ways. Microgreens checked those boxes flawlessly and we began growing a couple trays to add into home cooked meals and take out. Friends and family grew curious about them and began trying some for themselves, loving them and recommending them to others in the process. This led to us to add microgreens as products for sale at Rocky Hill Farms for the next 5 years, selling to restaurants, schools, families, and at farmer's markets and local events. What started as a couple trays to feed our family turned into a successful and scalable part-time business that feeds communities. While other ventures, passions, and our growing family have pulled us away from growing microgreens commercially over the last year, we are incredibly grateful for where it brought us and we're proud to turn the business over to the next "grow-getter" looking to get consistent revenue providing consistent, quality nutrition to their community.

We are offering our full microgreens operation for sale as a turnkey package at $18,000 OBO and includes:
- 2 operational grow racks w/ lights and fans (plans included for additional racks)
- 200 Bootstrap farmer 1020 shallow extra strength trays (100 w/holes, 100 w/o holes)
- 1 germination/ storage rack
- seed stock
- tested and proven SOPs
- supplier lists
- Full equipment list
- Climate monitoring and control equipment
- Growing, harvesting, & packing materials
- "warm" lead rolodex
- part- and full-time schedule rotations
- cost/profit analysis
- fact and fresh sheets
- a small content library for graphics and media
- 5 years of growing/ selling experience
- 30 days of "shadow and support" from our grower, Matt, to jumpstart production/sales, troubleshoot issues, and answer questions while getting started

This easily scalable operation "as is" produces up to $35,000/yr in revenue while only having to work 15-20 hrs/wk and we've already done most of the trial and error/ guess work for you! We'll also get you set up with the local farmers market and make introductions to other chefs/ business owners who would carry the products. For answers to questions and more in depth information, please contact us directly.

IIIITTTTTT'SS TTTIIMMMMEEE!!!! With consistent chances of rain over the next week, it is a great time to inoculate gardens, trees, and shrubs with the proper mix of beneficial microbes and nutrients that will carry them through the coming heat now that summer is in full swing. I'm starting a brew of worm tea and a separate brew specifically for trees and shrubs that will be ready on Friday. Comment below or message us to claim a gallon or 2 of concentrated worm tea, tree tea, or both!
$20/gal and can be picked up this weekend. Thank you for supporting your soil and local business!

Pic of giant walking stick we saw here for attention.

Something is brewing... And it's worm tea, just in time for growing season! $20/gallon and made to order, comprising a concentrated blend of beneficial and indigenous microorganisms to boost your crops' health and yield. Again, these are being brewed to order, so if you don't let me know you want some, there won't be any for you. Comment below to reserve your gallon of microbially rich garden gold or message us to get them on a regular basis so you're supplied throughout the season. Thank you for supporting your soil.

As we head into market season, there are a few updates we'd like to share with everyone.
1. After careful thought and analysis, we have decided that we will no longer be offering microgreens in our list of products available. We will be liquidating the equipment for this operation to make room for new ventures, so if you're interested in your own microgreens operation or expanding a current operation, please reach out to me (Matt) directly. I can provide all of the equipment, SOPs, and answer most questions you'd have.
2. With Tai being a college-educated nutritionist, her focus has shifted to providing high quality, nutritious, and convenient meals for locals. Check out Meal Prepping Mommy or more info or to sign up for her 6 week program. Your taste buds and health will thank you.
3. We will still have our signature Fire Cider available and I will continue offering soil health services such as garden and resource conservation consultations, biological soil analyses, and compost extracts/ teas.

Thank you all for your continued support of our small, local businesses as we diversify and expand to tackle existing needs and overcome new challenges facing our environment and communities. Stay tuned for more updates as we hone our specialties and operations in this new year of growth.
As always, please reach out to us with any questions or feedback. We look forward to serving you in whatever ways we can. Have a great week!
