At Appalachian Trail Rides in Mineral Bluff, Georgia, you saddle up on a mountain horse and head out across 250 private acres tucked into the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guided rides cross clear streams, wind through shady forest, and climb ridgelines where the views open over valleys below. Beginners get calm, sure-footed horses, while experienced riders can stretch out on longer trails. The stables sit off Cutcane Road, and everything runs by reservation. Along the way you might spot deer slipping through the trees or hawks circling above. It’s a mountain adventure best experienced from the back of a horse.
