Might be the only time I get to work on an eagle. The costumer had the proper paperwork that allowed me to do the work and the DNR came in and checked it as well. The eagle died of natural causes, was an adult but only 4 years old which is why it does a full white head and a wing span over 6 feet. Bald eagles get a full white head when they turn 5.

2 days short of a full year ago I saw a great buck on my dad's farm and I was tagged out. So I sent Eliza who was helping me out in the shop down the fence line and walked her into her best buck ever. Tonight she returned the deed by spotting my buck going across the field into one of my dad's fence line and walked me into this great buck. Now we own 50/50 credit of each other's great hunting stories.

Orion was on doe patrol tonight. He has shot bucks so this is his first doe with no tracking required.

Another dozen deer showed up tonight. A doe with horns that still had velvet and a 140 plus inch ten point stole the show. Thank you everyone for driving out and making the weekend a great success for my 25th annual buck pole.
