I met my first 4-legged best friend 12 years ago, Gizmo my Poodle-Maltese! But most importantly, he opened my heart to all other animals. Before I knew it, I was volunteering at LA City Shelters, DAWS (Directors of Animal Welfare), Best Friends, picking up lost and abandoned dogs off the streets and finding loving homes for them. My interest grew, so I enrolled with Animal Behavior College and att

ained a Dog Training Certification! In 2010, I made the move to beautiful Portland, Oregon. I'am currently a volunteer with the Oregon Humane Society and Guide Dogs for the Blind. My beloved pack consists of Gizmo, Casper a Westi mix-mutt and Angelita a Doxie/Shih-Tzu. I value their companionship and love more then they will ever know, and because they mean the world to me, I understand how your pets mean the world to you! I am not the average in and out, feed & walk sitter. I take the time to build my own friendship with your pets by making them feel safe and cared for. Meet our newest little guy. Welcome Nike to the Heartbeat at my Feet pack. Nike smiles! He's a cautious boy, brave and adorable. Lots of yawning (to relax himself!) and butt wiggles, good sign! I'm so glad I met his mama! Today he met Toby, Teddy, Cedar n Oakley and Roper of course 😀

Last couple weeks have been so fun at Heartbeat At My Feet! 🐾
From wild Lyra, she loves Rocks and swimming in my water bowls, to crazy Roper, who finally got Gypsy to chase him, sweetest referree Leo, smaller referee Oakley! Cedar, Archie, Filbert, the twin duo of cuteness Gibbs and Duckie, little pup Wanda trying to befriend Teddy, Bailey swooshing through my pics, Augie exploring the tree house, Big Toby in charge of sticks, and all the others I'm forgetting in this awesome photo dump of last week!

From crazy Lyra, to Augie in the treehouse, Big Toby shenanigans, Little Wanda trying to get shy Teddy to play, crazy Roper finally got Gypsy to chase, Leo being the sweet referee - Archie, Filbert, Cedar n Oakey, Bailey our beagle girl runs SO fast, Gibbs and Duckie the twin duo of cuteness, and whoever I missed in all the craziness of last week.
