Meet our newest arrivals! ๐Ÿ’š Three scimitar-horned oryx calvesโ€”Zaman, Yaji, and Yashiโ€”have joined our herd! These births are particularly important, as scimitar-horned oryx are an Endangered species.

The oryx parents arrived here on a breeding recommendation as part of an Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) Species Survival Planยฎ (SSP) Program.

The oryx calves spent their first few months close to their motherโ€™s side and can now be found in the African Waterhole habitat.
