Baby News!!! 💚
Meet the newest addition to the Macaque Island troop! Usagi gave birth to her second baby, behind the scenes, on June 8 and brought her baby outside a few hours later. The animal care team shares that all is going very well.

The baby can be seen outside and is typically tucked under her chest region, so look closely on your next visit!

Introducing the newest feathered-friend to join Penguins of the Pacific! 🐧

This chick hatched on March 14 to parents Lilly and Mariano and they have been nurturing it from behind the scenes. At the time of it's first swim, the juvenile is the same size as the adults. You will be able to find him or her by the juvenile coloring, which it will keep until it's first molt at about a year and a half.
