One thing I want people to understand is why we’ve kept our Yorkie puppies longer than expected. 🐶💛
During tax season, my schedule was extremely busy, and I refused to rush the process just to “get rid” of them. These puppies are not just pets to us — they are living animals that deserve love, patience, attention, and a safe home.
I’ve learned that not everyone who reaches out has the right intentions. Sadly, we’ve dealt with situations where people claimed they were ready for a puppy, but later admitted they were overwhelmed, couldn’t properly care for them, tried to rehome them to someone else, resell them, or keep them confined in crates for most of the day. That is something I cannot support.
Every family has their own struggles and situations, and I understand life happens. But owning a pet is a long-term responsibility, not a temporary excitement.
Our puppies are playful, loving, socialized, and used to attention and interaction. They deserve homes where they will be treated like family — not ignored, neglected, or used for profit.
Finding the RIGHT home will always matter more to me than finding a FAST home. 💙
