Since we havent posted in a while, I figured we should post an update. Our veiled chameleon eggs hatched this summer. We had a total of 19 chameleons hatch between August 3rd through August 6th. We have 16 left and we are selling them for $65 each!

Things are looking up here at Bluffing Reptiles started the warming up process today to bring my Leopard Geckos out of brumation! Then it is back to breeding them

My Veiled Chameleon laid 60 eggs the day before Halloween now the long 120 to 200 days to wait for them to hatch.

So initially I thought this gecko was a Blizzard when it hatched but I was wrong because it is a Super Mack Snow. He looks just like his mom. I also know how I ended up hatching a morph like this. Initially i had his mom with my snow but she kept laying infertile eggs so i switched her to my normal male and i started getting good eggs from her. When you combine a normal with a super mack snow you will get mack snows all the time. Well what is cool about reptiles is they can retain s***m from previous males such as the snow she was paired with in the beginning of the breeding season! And she retained s***m from him and this is how I got a super mack snow. Very cool now I know she will definitely be paired with my snow this coming breeding season. I just hope after their brumation she will lay more fertile eggs this coming year!

So I had one egg left for the season with my leopard gecko female and the pairing is my normal male X super mack snow. Pairing these two will give you mack snows all the time but not this time! I ended up to what I believe is a Blizzard. So upon research both parents have to be heterozigus for Blizzard to have this morph to show. He is also the smallest I have ever hatched. Luckily I have small bugs to feed him! I will also be growing him up to make sure he really is a Blizzard. Just thought I would share. Also the picture of the bigger leopard is my blizzard.

Such a cool leopard gecko! I believe this morph is my favorite! He is a Blizzard I really love the purple with the yellow coming through and those dark eyes! You can barely see his pupils. And he is an assassin on bugs I have had him for over a year and I only remember him missing one meal!

Never had a litter of 20 rats before! Looks like I'm gonna delegate the duties of some of these babies to a different mom

just wanted people to know we changed our name! im sure everyone got a notice anyway! So why Bluffing Reptiles? Because nothing beats a pair of balls! Ball Pythons that is! i actually saw this on a sign and liked it a lot better than our old name.

Wow I’m super blessed! Just found these Leo’s this morning! They are Mack Snows! I bred my Super Mack Snow female to my normal male! I have had a lot of issues with infertile eggs this year. I wasn’t totally sure they were gonna hatch but they did!
