I've had several clients tell me I need to post an "about me". So, here I am, uncomfortably, obliging.

So, me?

I essentially grew up at the current location of TeamBAF on Mud River being thrown on most anything in the barn. I later developed an interest in Hunter/Jumpers that eventually led to falling in love with Eventing in my early teens. I'm only mildly ashamed to say that was in approximately 2006.

I previously competed through the preliminary level with a self-produced Morgan/Quarter horse and now focusing on producing Thoroughbred's through training level, to date, personally and for clients. I now pride myself on the ability to develop horses successfully, doing so knowledgeably resulting in well educated event horses.

In my nearly 29 years in the saddle,
I have spent approximately 11 years of them as a professional rider. I have learned from many top riders soaking up knowledge across the eastern and southern portions of the country. I want to share the experience and knowledge with all my students. Im also a true believer that bettering myself benefits my students just as much as myself. I truly find success in how educated and confident my students are.

On a slightly different note, I also enjoy connecting clients with their best equine friend. Playing match maker is made easy by all the wonderful connections I have made in my tenure within this industry.

Equine education is ever evolving and there is never one single right answer. I think that could be the definition of "growth".
