Always pay attention to the signs your horse gives you! 🐴
A friend reached out to me about coming to check out her horse after he developed a yellow, dark, foul-smelling discharge coming from his right nostril. A week of antibiotics helped some, but it still wasn’t completely resolved. Since he was due for his yearly float anyway, we decided to take a closer look.
Surprise… a fractured 108 tooth.
Broken completely in half with part of the root broken off. Boy, did it smell 😆
All parts of the tooth were successfully removed, and he’s already feeling so much better!
Also so happy to have had my new hanging halter from L7 Optics with me. It makes working on horses alone so much easier!
