It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Red Kangaroo, Hugh. He passed away last week surrounded by his care team.

Our staff is grateful to have been able to watch Hugh grow into his ‘senior citizen’ years.

Porcupine huddle!

Did you know it’s actually a myth that porcupines can “shoot” their quills, in order to poke you they would have to feel threatened and make physical contact with you! But still be sure to give them plenty of space if you encounter a porcupine in the wild.
