We just wanted to give everyone an update on Trey! He finished his 6 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy on the 28th of December. Trey breezed through his treatments with no problems other than slight fatigue. He then got a 4week break from treatment to rest and recover. On the 27th January he went for another MRI scan to see if the treatments were successful, which it was! The tumors had shrunk over 50%!!! Treys was up and walking with a cane and had almost full range of motion in his left arm. Neuro-oncologist, Dr. Karen Fink, wanted him to start a maintenance chemotherapy program. Which consists of chemo for five days at the beginning of each month. He would do this for at least one year. Trey took his first five days starting February 6th. The chemo medicine did not make him feel well at all. He lost all appetite and became very weak. Since finishing those five days of treatment he has been having some issues. Trey has been suffering from seizures for the past week. One of which he needed to be taken to the ER. The seizures have caused him to lose use of his left side once again. Our wonderful team of doctors have changed his medicine and hopefully this will give him some relief from the seizures and he can get back to working with physical therapist. We are so thankful and appreciative of everyone's support and prayers through these trying times. We only ask that you please keep Trey in your thoughts and prayers.

We are not going to go into details but as many of you know Trey Hunt had some serious recent health issues that have given him and his family a big scare this week. Today brought some positive news but it's still early and he will have a long road to recovery. Although Trey does have health insurance he still faces mounting every day expenses. With so many people wanting to help we are going to be setting up an "Online Auction" for some really cool items as well as a "Silent Auction" during next week's Waco Texas Futurity along with a gofundme account where people wanting to donate directly may do so. We will be posting items up for bids starting tomorrow and promoting them through facebook where you can bid, stay tuned for more information. Thank you to everyone who has offered to help.
