🦠 Kennel Cough 🦠
There’s been multiple reports of dogs getting kennel cough in our neighborhood, and with how easily it can spread I will be taking extra measures to keep our pets safe!
Symptoms can include:
Coughing (loud and dry)
Gagging
Sneezing
Runny nose
Watery eyes
If your pet shows any of these symptoms during a groom, the service will be stopped immediately and you must pick up your dog. We will reschedule once your pet no longer shows any symptoms and a week has passed.
If your pet has been around a dog with kennel cough, please keep a close eye and contact me if you have any concerns.
Kennel cough is airborne, meaning it will travel through the air. It can stick to our clothing and while we as humans can’t be affected, it can be exposed to your pets by simply being around another dog with kennel cough.
I will be taking this seriously and will not tolerate any push back if I decline to service your pet. This is for the safety and well being for not just the wicked good dogs that come into my salon, but for the safety of the pets I have at my own home as well as my employees and the pets they care for outside of the salon.
