Not sure why I haven’t been trimming Amish farms in the past, but I’ve just trimmed my 3rd one for this year… I found today very interesting to see how they “chop” first cutting hay. They just start chopping and filling silo yesterday…

So this happened yesterday… (customers requested it) trimmed 4 of the 6 horses on the trim chute. The other two said no way José, I’m not going in that thing. So I had to trim them two normally. I’ve tipped donkeys & ponies before, but never full sized saddle horses… they laid still just like cows.

One of my customer’s Granddaughter never misses trim day.... why should Prom Day be any different? I’m really grateful that Kaitlin Sleeman took a few minutes to come out to the barnyard so we can see her all dazzled up! Very beautiful young lady and handsome young man! I hope you are having lots of fun & making lots of memories!

A farm’s special pet that always has to hang around me on trim day. Today was her day to get trimmed as well. She even gave me a kiss afterwards when we were packing up.

So, this farm never had Jerseys until about a month or so ago... and they are already teaching the Holsteins bad habits!!!
