As the temperatures rise, here are a few reminders to keep your pets safe and comfortable all season long:

🌡️ Never leave pets in parked cars even with windows cracked, temps can become deadly in minutes
💧 Keep fresh water available at all times, especially during outdoor play
🐕 Walk during cooler hours such as early morning or evening to protect paws from hot pavement
🏖️ Provide shade when your pet's outside, and limit sun exposure during peak heat
🦟 Stay current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Summer pests are in full swing

We want every furry friend to enjoy the sunshine safely. If you notice signs of overheating (excessive panting, drooling, or lethargy), get them to a cool spot and call us right away at 518-789-3440.
