He looks like it but nope, not a Hancock. He has just a teensy bit of Hancock bloodline back in the pedigree - a rarity in blue roan quarter horses!

From Duane:
Wow, wow, wow! Cherokee is the kind of horse that turns heads wherever he goes. He is the complete package—stunning, versatile, and incredibly well-minded. He is a true go-anywhere, do-anything kind of horse, having been ridden on countless trails, through creeks, rivers, and rough terrain with complete confidence. Water crossings, steep hills, and rocky paths are no challenge for him, and he handles them all with ease.
He has been ridden through town, on state roads, and in traffic like a seasoned pro, staying calm and collected no matter what the situation. Cherokee has also been used to check cattle, handles a rope, and is comfortable around livestock, making him a solid choice for ranch work, cowboy challenges, or versatility events. His training includes desensitization to tarps, whips, jugs, and even gunfire, proving his level-headed and fearless nature.
On top of all that, Cherokee also knows how to lay down on command, adding another impressive skill to his resume. With a gentle and respectful attitude, he is a pleasure to handle in the barn and in the saddle. He is the first to greet you at the gate, always eager for attention and ready for his next adventure. In his stall, he is quiet and well-mannered, standing patiently for grooming, tacking, and bathing.
He is excellent for the farrier and vet, making care and maintenance a breeze. Currently, he wears shoes on all four feet due to the terrain where he is ridden but can easily go barefoot as well. This gelding is sound, strong, and built to last, with the looks to match. He is truly the kind of horse that makes every ride special, and he is ready to be your next trusted partner.
