Marlie spent months here at HGAC, and in that time she stole all of our hearts. 💕 We were so lucky to be a small part of her story, giving her the love and care she needed while she waited for her next step.

Now, thanks to ARF Rescue and the Riverbend Jail Dog Program, Marlie is off to bigger and brighter things. 🐾 We’ll miss her sweet face around the clinic, but we can’t wait to see all the joy she continues to bring in her new adventure!

🌍✈️ Celebrating Dr. Washington! 🎉

Since joining us in 2021, Dr. Washington has led HGAC as our Medical Director, bringing nearly two decades of experience, a special passion for surgery and ultrasound, and a deep commitment to helping families keep their pets healthy through preventative care. 🐾💙

Not only is she an incredible veterinarian and leader, but she’s also an adventurer at heart. When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Washington loves to travel, explore new places, and soak up different cultures—always coming back with new stories (and probably new recipes to try in the kitchen, too!).

We’re so grateful for everything she does for our patients, our clients, and our team. Thank you, Dr. Washington, for 4 amazing years with HGAC—and here’s to many more! 💙

Roasting our patients 😬 It feels wrong, but it HAS to be done.

Oh, Teal. MISSING: sanity 🤪

This picture really says “I just chugged a triple espresso and I’m ready to make poor decisions.” ☕️

She’s got that wild-eyed, half-groomed, “I’m about to invent a new sport called Olympic Furniture Vaulting” energy. 🤸🏽 You can practically hear her other three dog siblings in the background sighing like retired grandparents forced to babysit an over-sugared toddler. 🍭

And the chewing? Honestly, the fact that she can reduce anything to molecular dust probably has NASA looking into her as an alternative to industrial shredders. 🚀

She looks like the kind of dog who would wag so hard she knocks over your coffee, then p*e on your foot out of pure joy while you’re cleaning it up.

Boykin Aussie Doodle mix? More like Boykin Aussie Nuclear Reactor mix. 🧪

But let’s be real—zoomies, chaos, couch-scaling, questionable bladder control and all—her human brothers Jax, CT, & Bentley couldn’t survive a day without this caffeine-powered furry tornado. 🌪️ They couldn’t pick her up fast enough today after her 9 day vaca with us while they were doing some house renos! 🧳
