Just a quick PSA/Rant

Let me begin with this is not directed toward any of our kind clients. Yall are so VERY appreciated, we are so grateful for each and every one of you!

I cannot name the amount of times everyone at this practice has helped pay for animals out of their own pockets because the owner didnt have the funds.

Veterinarians and their staff do not get paid as well as you think. Things are expensive because the things we purchase to treat animals are EXPENSIVE. So enough with the “they are In It for the money .”

Human medicine is very expensive but no one ever complains about that on social media right?

The public has no idea how much blood, sweat, tears, heart, soul, and money veterinarians and staff put into saving animals. That’s why we are in this profession, NOT for money I promise you. We can make more at McDonald’s.

We are here because we genuinely care. We can only do so much. Anything we do, we give our ABSOLUTE ALL. When you as a pet parent don’t take the appropriate precautions for your pet, you cannot blame the clinic.

Parasites are preventable, diseases are preventable, and keeping toxins out of reach is doable.

In a perfect world we would love to save every animal, regardless of the diagnosis.

Everyone is doing their absolute best… to bash people on facebook is unbecoming. All the details of the “event” are never included in these bashing posts, good thing we have charts with notations. ☺️

At the end of the day, just be kind, one conversation goes a long way, and be respectful.

With 4th of July just around the corner now is the time to check your fur babies medications that may need to be filled to make it a stress free holiday weekend. Our staff is here and eager to help get this completed and ready for pickup!

Please protect your Fur Babies!
Because it’s so hardy and easily transmitted, PARVO can spread quickly—especially in environments where dogs gather.

The good news? Parvo is preventable with proper vaccinations!

Puppies are especially vulnerable, so they should receive a Series of Parvo vaccinations (DA2PP) in their first few months of life.

-Vaccination and hygiene are key to preventing Parvo

- Avoid dog parks,kennels, and daycares until your puppy’s vaccine series is complete

-Choose pet-friendly places that require up-to-date vaccinations

-Keep your dog away from sick dogs or unknown f***s

-Always clean up after your pet

-Wash your hands and change clothes if you’ve been around a potentially infected dog

Treatment for Parvo can be costly, ranging from hundreds to thousands of dollars . In contrast, the parvo vaccines typically cost just $20-$50 dollars.
