Molly the 15 year old Cockapoo came in for her grooming appointment. At her age, grooming requires extra patience, understanding, and care. Not all dogs enjoy being groomed, especially senior dogs. They may have aches, pains, vision loss, hearing loss, or simply less tolerance for the grooming process than they had when they were younger.

Our job is to work with the dog, not against them. We pay attention to their body language and comfort level throughout the groom. Sometimes that means taking things slower, giving breaks, or adjusting our approach. Molly did her best today, and we are proud of her.

Oso the Lab stopped by for a spa day and cleanup. Labs may have shorter coats, but regular grooming is still important. A good bath, blowout, nail trim, and ear cleaning help keep them comfortable, healthy, and looking their best. Oso was a good boy and left feeling fresh and clean.

Teddy the Poodle mix came in for his grooming appointment. As a senior dog, he needs a little extra patience, care, and understanding. Senior dogs can be more sensitive to handling, standing for long periods, and the grooming process in general. Some may also have vision or hearing loss, making grooming more stressful for them.

Our goal is always to make the experience as comfortable as possible. We work at their pace and pay close attention to their body language. When a senior dog tells us they have had enough, we listen. Their safety, comfort, and well being always come first. Teddy did a great job today and we were happy to give him the special care he deserves.

Boba the Corgi came in for a paws, butt, and feathers trim to keep him clean and comfortable. Sometimes a small maintenance groom makes a huge difference between full appointments. Clean paws, tidy feathers, and a sanitary trim help keep active dogs looking neat and feeling good. Boba is all cleaned up now.

Pepito the Schnauzer mix came in for a fresh cleanup and tidy up. We shaped the coat, cleaned up the face, and got him looking neat and comfortable again. Regular grooming helps keep mixed coats easier to maintain and prevents matting from building up. Pepito is looking sharp now.

Nova the 7 month old Maltipoo came in for a much needed groom and walked out looking way too cute. Fresh, fluffy, and feeling herself. Can’t wait to see her back for her next groom 💕✂️

🌈💔 We are deeply saddened to share that our beloved furry client, Chichi Rodriguez, has crossed the rainbow bridge.

For more than 10 years, it was a true privilege to care for Chichi. She brought joy to every visit, and her sweet personality made every grooming session special. We will especially remember the little touches, like coloring her nails, that made her shine.

Chichi will be sorely missed, and we are grateful to have been a part of her life for so many years. May she rest in peace. 🐾❤️
