🚨 Urgent Rescue Needed 🚨

We need your help to save this sweet camp horse (ID 437) from the Peabody Kansas horse pen. Right now, this horse is at risk, and we can’t do it without our village.

This horse has shown they can be handled and ridden, and they deserve a second chance at a safe, cared-for life. We’re working to pull them into our rescue, but we need to raise the funds quickly to make it happen.

Busy days like this are what it’s all about! 🐴☀️

Today we had two trail rides and two lessons back-to-back, and we couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who came out to ride with us. From hitting the trails to building skills in the arena, it was a full day of learning, laughter, and great horses.

We love seeing both new and familiar faces grow in confidence and enjoy time with our herd. Days like this keep our program going and our horses working with purpose.

Sometimes the hardest part of rescue isn’t the intake… it’s the moments like this. 💔

We received some heartbreaking news about Sparrow and Seminole.

Sparrow has been diagnosed with an extensive heart murmur. He’s a boy with so much heart in every sense, and while some horses can live comfortably with murmurs, the severity of his means we’ll have to be extremely mindful of his future, his workload, and his overall comfort moving forward.

Seminole, on the other hand, is reaching a different chapter… he’s aging out of our program. Horses like him give so much of themselves over the years, and now it’s our turn to make sure he’s able to slow down, rest, and enjoy the life he deserves.

These are the realities of rescue that people don’t always see. Not every story is a quick turnaround. Some turn into long-term care, medical management, or retirement—but every single one matters.

We are committed to both of them, no matter what that looks like. 💛
