Dear Pond Point Community,

We are writing to share an important update about the future of your pet’s care. Pond Point Animal Hospital will officially close our doors on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Beginning October 1, 2025, we will be joining forces with CareVet of Shoreline in Clinton, CT to continue providing the highest quality veterinary care.

CareVet of Shoreline, formerly Shoreline Animal Hospital, has recently moved into a newly renovated facility in Clinton. This beautiful, expanded hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools and offers services such as abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms in-house. With our teams combining, you’ll also benefit from expanded availability, more doctors and staff, and the return of routine surgical and dental care.

We know this change means a longer drive for some families, but we are confident you’ll find the expanded services, enhanced facility, and combined expertise well worth the trip. For families who are unable to make the transition with us, please know it has been an absolute honor to be part of your pet’s life and care. We are so grateful for the trust you’ve placed in us over the years.
Patient records will be securely transferred to CareVet of Shoreline after Pond Point closes and will be available upon request.
