Here's a little example of some antler repair I done lately. The antler was hit in the base by a bullet but was still attached. I drilled a hole big enough to insert a rod to give it support, then filled void with bondo. Made a quick mold of another bade close to other side then mixed epoxy and applied. Molded the base then stained to match other side.
