Shout out to Wil Wade and the whole crew - a tornado touched down near our small barn and demolished most of it and segments of fencing in our riding ring and 2 adjacent pastures when hurricane Helene blew through here recently. Thankfully Seventeen of our horses were safely bedded down in our main barn and no injuries and damages. Shout out as well to all the Coastal EMC crews who worked tirelessly getting power back on for everyone in our area. We thank 🙌 all you for doing such a wonderful job

Wonderful Program🦄📚

Gentle Carousel's Reading with Horses has finished another year of school literacy programs.

Our annual summer reading programs will begin on June 6th at 10 AM at the Ocala Downtown Market in partnership with the Ocala/Marion County Chamber & Economic Partnership. They are free for both adults and children. Every child attending will be able to select a new book to take home each week of the program.

Gentle Carousel's Reading with Horses kickoff will include a ribbon cutting by the Ocala/Marion County Chamber & Economic Partnership, special guests Mayor Ben Marciano, the Ocala Police Department, Congresswoman Kat Cammack's office and much more. There will also be food trucks and fun surprises.

Each week will feature a different horse who is an ACTUAL character in that week's book. This summer will include two new books about Gentle Carousel horses published by National Geographic Kids and Revell Publishing.
