The schooling bannerfish is a small, colorful butterflyfish native to the Indo-Pacific, known for its long dorsal filament, social schooling behavior, and adaptability to aquariums.

Heniochus diphreutes is considered hardy and beginner-friendly. They require a large tank (125 gallons or more) with ample swimming space and stable water conditions. They are primarily planktivores, feeding on zooplankton, frozen mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, marine pellets, and algae-based foods. Feeding two to three times daily with a varied diet helps maintain health. While generally reef-safe, they may nip at soft corals or invertebrates if not well-fed

The Popeye Catalufa is a striking fish recognized for its vibrant red body with bold white stripes and its characteristic large eyes, adapted for hunting in low-light conditions. Semi-aggressive in temperament, this fish is best suited to larger aquariums with peaceful or similarly tempered tank mates. It primarily feeds on meaty foods like shrimp and small fish. While it can be kept in reef setups, caution is advised as it may prey on smaller invertebrates. The Popeye Catalufa prefers a tank with ample hiding spots to mimic its natural rocky habitat.

The Tessalata Eel, also known as the Honeycomb Moray Eel or Leopard Eel, has a light colored body and especially attractive, dark honeycomb markings.

Being one of the larger eels, the Tessalata Eel requires a 180 gallon or larger aquarium with numerous rock crevices for hiding and a secure, tight-fitting lid to discourage its escape.

The Tessalata Eel’s diet should include sizeable portions of live feeder fish, octopus, and squid.

The Clown Tang is found widespread from the Western Indian Ocean to the central Pacific Ocean. The coloration of these tangs can vary a little between each specimen. In general, they have a bright yellow to bright orange body with a grayish belly. They will use their spines as a weapon against other fish that threaten them. A Clown Tang can reach up to 15 inches in length and requires a large aquarium with live rock and plenty of room to swim.

The Cream Angelfish adapts readily to aquarium life. It requires a minimum of a 100 gallon tank or larger with lots of hiding places and live rock for grazing. It is prone to nip at stony and soft corals and clam mantles. Their diet should include Spirulina, marine algae, high-quality angelfish preparations, mysis or frozen shrimp, and other meaty items.
